Williams experience includes over 20 years of designing learning programs for adult professionals in various industries at Fortune 500 to small private firms in the US and overseas. She began my career as a corporate communications consultant in Tokyo, Japan where she created dynamic business skills and cross-cultural training programs for a wide range of clients including Goldman Sachs, Deutsch Bank, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Johnson & Johnson Co., Eddie Bauer, JAPEX, Ministry of International Trade to name a few. She has studied, traveled, taught and even sung professionally overseas in over 20 countries.
Since returning to the US, Williams has consulted in HR and Training roles with Hewitt Associates, LaSalle Bank and Unicare. In 2006, Williams helped set up and run Training Connection, a software and business skills training firm in downtown Chicago. In 2009, she ran the newest office, Training Connection Los Angeles.
Currently, Williams is a Learning Experience Instructional Design Architect for LA Care Health Plan, an independent local public agency based in Los Angeles which provides health insurance for low-income individuals in LA County through four health coverage programs including Medi-Cal.
Williams has created numerous self-paced, instructor-led, virtual and blended programs as well as coached executive professionals on custom interactive live presentations. She edits sound, images, graphics, and video and elearning authoring, animation, interactive learning tools for both software, business skills, and manages multiple projects as well as participates in collaborate enterprise wide projects following best practices of ADDIE and agile instructional systems design principles. She has built computer based training modules using Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Cloud apps, Camtasia, Captivate and a host of web client tools for animation and gamification for live and online training. Also, she has experience with proprietary application and the Success Factors Learning Management System (LMS).
