I am an ATD Master Instructional Designer with 20 years of professional experience in the US and overseas. I prescribe learning treatments based on adult learning theories, Instructional Systems Design strategy and lead full cycle of intake to evaluation to see that learning objectives are met by what I design, develop, and deliver. I design instructor led, online, and blended programs for enterprise wide and individual business unit requests.
My experience encompasses delivering instructor led programs, performing voice over, and develop learning experiences editing sound, images, and videos with tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud apps (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Audition, Illustrator), Adobe Captivate; Techsmith Camtasia and Snagit, Articulate 360 applications with certification in Advanced Elearning. In addition, I am also experienced with recorders, xlr mics, camera, online animation, apps for learning games and techniques for building meaningful design via scenarios, gamification, social learning campaigns, and simulations. My goal is to make information meaningful, retrievable, and simplified so that learning is easy on the eye and the brain as well as accessible for global audiences.
I authored the CEO Method© and People Solving© training strategies for business communication training and I’m certified by Partners in Leadership to deliver Accountability Builder Leadership Seminars. My work also includes needs analysis surveys, focus groups, and interviews.
Prior to landing my current position at LA Care Health Plan, I designed learning experiences for hundreds of companies in the US via Training Connection and overseas via JAL, ALC, and Simul Benesse. I love to make the mundane funny and fun as well as show off what’s new and campaign for doing things a new way!
